Red Robin (New 52)

DC's new 52 brings Red Robin into play after the "death" of Bruce Wayne. Tim Drake is certain that Bruce is still alive and goes out on his own to prove it. Along the way he has to work with the League of Assassins and  Ra's Al Ghul.

Aquaman (New 52)

An Aquaman story worth reading. It's darker than I expected, but I never got into Aquaman. But it's fast paced and unpredictable. It throws a lot of information at you if you don't know his backstory, but it's definitely worth the read.

Batman: War Games

War Games is a dark story arc. Someone has set in motion a terrible plan that pits all of Gotham's criminal organizations against each other. The result is choas in the streets with nobody but the Bat Family to help out. This arc doesn't pull any punches and it's that much more powerful because of it.

Batman: Year One

This is my favorite "Year One" Story. It doesn't bother telling Batmans origin again, because seriously, who doesn't know it. And it practically Jim Gordan's story. If you know anything about Jim Gordan, you know he's the biggest badass in Gotham. In my opinion, he's cooler than Batman.
